Shopify Agency in Miami, FL

We are a Shopify partner agency with a Miami office, building Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for Miami businesses. Our work here concentrates on cross-border commerce into Latin America, bilingual storefronts, B2B portals for importers and distributors, and subscriptions for beauty, wellness and specialty food brands.

Unlike most agencies serving this market, we are actually here. Projects start around $20,000. A typical build is 8 to 12 weeks.

We work with South Florida brands, not just in the South Florida market. OFRA Cosmetics, headquartered in Pompano Beach, is one of them. Time4Learning, whose main office is in Fort Lauderdale, is another.

Why Shopify businesses in Miami choose SOLO MEDIA GROUP

Miami is a hub for beauty and wellness, Latin American import and distribution, and fast-growing direct-to-consumer brands, and our Miami office puts our team on the ground alongside them. For beauty, supplement, and specialty food brands we build subscriptions and conversion-rate optimization that drive repeat orders, on fast and ADA-accessible storefronts. The city's importers and wholesalers get B2B portals with account-level pricing plus ERP and 3PL integrations that handle cross-border catalogs and real inventory. Multi-location retailers get Shopify POS that connects showroom and online. Our senior developers and AI-assisted process serve mid-market to enterprise brands across Shopify and Shopify Plus.

Our Miami office: 1750 N Bayshore Dr, Miami, FL 33132.

What is a Shopify Expert, and does the term still exist?

Worth clearing up, because it affects how you search.

Shopify retired the Shopify Experts Marketplace in 2023 and replaced it with the Shopify Partner Directory. The official designation is now Shopify Partner, organised into tiers, and the directory covers more than 30 service categories.

Shopify experts remains what most merchants type, so the term persists even though Shopify no longer uses it. Practically, when you are looking to hire Shopify developers in Miami, you are looking for a listed Shopify partner with verifiable client work.

What to check when you hire: proven technical ability rather than a portfolio of pretty homepages. Ask what they have built that was not theme configuration. Custom checkout logic, app integrations, complex migrations, CRM and ERP connections. Design skill and technical depth are different things, and plenty of agencies have one without the other.

Why Miami businesses work with us

Miami is not just another market with better weather. The commerce problems here are genuinely different, and most agencies build Miami stores as though they are not.

Miami is a gateway, not a destination market. A large share of South Florida brands sell into Latin America and the Caribbean, or serve importers who do. That means multi-currency, market-specific pricing, duty and tariff handling, and payment methods that do not exist in a default setup. If your store cannot take Mercado Pago in Argentina, PIX in Brazil, or OXXO in Mexico, you are invisible to a large share of the customers you are chasing. Shopify Markets alone does not solve it.

Bilingual is not optional here. Roughly seven in ten Miami-Dade residents speak Spanish at home. A Spanish storefront in this market is a domestic requirement, not an international expansion project. Done properly that means translated product data and metafields rather than a translation widget, hreflang configured so both versions rank, and Spanish-language email and checkout. Done badly it means a translate button Google ignores and customers do not trust.

The import economy runs on B2B. Miami's wholesale sector needs account-level pricing, gated catalogs, net terms and quantity breaks, integrated with the ERP and 3PL systems already running the business. Shopify Plus handles this natively now, at materially lower cost than the legacy B2B platforms many distributors still pay for.

Hurricane season is an operational reality. June through November, fulfillment out of South Florida faces genuine disruption. Brands that plan for it protect their peak. Brands that do not spend those weeks issuing refunds. It is the most Miami-specific thing about running ecommerce here, and almost nobody builds for it.

Miami brands aren't building for Miami. They're building for two continents, in two languages, out of one warehouse. That's a different problem than most agencies are used to solving.Johnathan Solorzano, Founder

Working with us in Miami

We are at 1750 N Bayshore Dr in Edgewater, minutes from Brickell and the Design District. We meet Miami clients in person for kickoffs, workshops and major reviews.

That is a genuine difference in this market. Most agencies ranking for Shopify experts in Miami are remote teams or listing marketplaces that connect you to a freelancer somewhere else. If being able to sit in a room matters to you, it is worth asking any agency you are considering where they actually are.

Day to day, work runs through your project management tool, a shared Slack channel, weekly syncs and transparent reporting, with a dedicated senior team throughout: a solution engineer on architecture, developers, a designer, a Klaviyo specialist and a project lead.

Tell us your revenue, your current platform, and what is actually not working. If a targeted fix serves you better than a rebuild, we will say so.

FAQS

Shopify Agency in Miami

Yes, at 1750 N Bayshore Dr, Miami, FL 33132 in Edgewater. We meet Miami-area clients in person for kickoffs, workshops and milestone reviews, and run daily delivery through shared project tools.

Shopify's Partner Directory lists verified partners and lets you filter by location and service category. Beyond the listing, check technical depth rather than design portfolio: what have they built that wasn't theme configuration, and can they name clients in your category. Ask whether they'll tell you a project isn't right for them. The ones that will are usually worth talking to.

Yes, and it's one of the main reasons Miami businesses come to us. That means Shopify Markets configuration, region-appropriate pricing rather than raw currency conversion, local payment methods such as Mercado Pago, PIX and OXXO, and duty handling. Payment methods matter most, since cards alone leave a large share of LATAM customers unable to check out.

Yes. Proper bilingual builds use translated product data and metafields with hreflang configured so both versions rank, plus Spanish email and checkout. Widget-based translation generally isn't indexed and reads as inauthentic to native speakers.

Yes. Shopify Plus B2B supports gated catalogs, customer-specific pricing, quantity breaks and net terms, connected to your ERP and 3PL. For many South Florida distributors this replaces a legacy platform at lower total cost.

On Shopify Plus, yes. Checkout extensibility, Shopify Functions and dynamic pricing allow custom discount logic, payment customization and checkout UI changes that standard Shopify plans don't.

We build the operational pieces before the season: shipping-delay messaging ready to deploy, clear fulfillment expectations on product and checkout pages, and where relevant a secondary fulfillment path outside the region. Most stores discover they need this mid-storm, which is the wrong time to build it.

Brickell, Wynwood, the Design District, Coral Gables, Doral, Miami Beach, Aventura, Kendall and the wider Miami-Dade and Broward area.

Yes — from our Miami office at 1750 N Bayshore Dr in Edgewater. We're a Shopify Plus & Platinum Partner agency that has designed, built, and scaled 500+ Shopify stores over 8 years, generating $500M+ in annual revenue for our clients. We meet Miami-area clients in person for kickoffs, workshops and milestone reviews, and run daily delivery through shared project tools with weekly reporting.

Solo Media Group is a senior design and development studio for commerce brands. We design, build, and grow Shopify stores end to end — brand-led design, custom development and integrations, email and retention marketing, and ongoing support. One team handles strategy, design, engineering, and QA, so you're not stitching together multiple vendors.

We work with direct-to-consumer and retail-first brands across beauty, wellness, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, and specialty retail — from new-brand launches to established businesses replatforming or scaling. We're especially strong with brands that sell across multiple channels (direct-to-consumer, retail, wholesale, and POS).

A dedicated senior team: a Shopify solution engineer for architecture, engineers for development and custom apps, e-commerce-focused designers, a Klaviyo/email specialist for retention, and a project lead who runs communication and keeps the work on schedule. You work with the same team throughout — no hand-offs to junior staff.

We run a proven four-phase design process in Figma: (1) Brand discovery — a brand exercise, asset collection, competitive landscape, and a mood board; (2) Concepts and mood boarding — early creative directions that establish the visual language, tone, and feel before full design; (3) Full site design — iterative design of every key page; (4) Handoff — final designs with engineering notes, then development.

Yes — Shopify and Shopify Plus are our core platform. We build custom themes, apps, and integrations, and we architect stores for performance, maintainability, and growth.

Standard Shopify fits most single-brand stores. Shopify Plus adds enterprise features and lets you run up to 10 storefronts ("expansion stores") under one organization — useful if you operate multiple brands, currencies, or regions. We'll recommend the right plan based on your structure; you purchase the Shopify license directly.

Yes. We build on editable, well-structured themes so your team can update content and pages without opening a development ticket for every change. We also provide documentation and a walkthrough at handoff.

Yes. We build custom middleware and apps to connect Shopify with the systems your business runs on — ERPs and POS systems, Salesforce and other CRMs, subscription platforms, and custom logic unique to your business. Integrations are scoped up front so they're reliable and maintainable.

Yes. For brands with physical retail, we set up Shopify POS and keep inventory in sync between online and in-store, so both channels run off one source of truth.

Yes. We build B2B and wholesale experiences using Shopify Plus's native B2B features — gated portals, tax-exempt handling, customer-specific pricing, and automated renewals — often connected to your CRM.

Yes. We regularly migrate stores to Shopify from Magento / Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, OpenCart, and other platforms — including the design, data, and integration work required to run the new store.

Protecting search rankings is a core part of how we plan a migration. We map redirects and preserve technical SEO so you don't see a post-launch traffic drop — in past migrations we've replatformed stores with no SEO dip after launch.

Yes. We migrate products, variants/SKUs, customers, and order history, along with catalog structure, collections, and metafields. For large catalogs we confirm the exact data scope (for example, how much order history to bring over) during discovery.

A typical new build runs about 8–12 weeks from design kickoff to launch. Smaller, more focused builds can be 4–6 weeks. Migrations depend on data and integration complexity.

The biggest factor is how quickly feedback comes back from your side. With a single decision-maker and prompt, consolidated feedback each round, we move fast; with multiple stakeholders and longer review cycles, timelines extend. Custom integrations and data migration also affect scope.

When speed matters — for a retail debut or seasonal launch — we can compress the design phase and run multiple design teams in parallel across projects. Focused builds can launch in as little as 8 weeks with quick turnarounds on approvals.

Most design-and-build projects start around $20,000, quoted as a line-item estimate. Retainers start at 20-hour engagements or $3,000 per month for ongoing support and optimization.

Projects are billed against milestones — for example, a percentage on signing to begin design, at design approval, at development start, and at launch. Invoices are typically net 15. We agree on the schedule up front in the statement of work.

Both. Many engagements are fixed-scope projects; others are ongoing retainers for continuous design and development. Retainers start at 20-hour engagements or $3,000/month, and for brands with variable workloads we can combine project (tranche) billing with a small retainer to keep us on call.

Yes. If you have your own development team, we can provide design-only services and deliver production-ready Figma files for your engineers to build.

Yes. We integrate Klaviyo with your store and build core lifecycle flows — welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, and post-purchase — plus campaigns and segmentation strategy.

Yes. If your sender reputation has suffered, we rebuild it methodically — for example, using high-engagement, protected sending to restore reputation before scaling campaigns again — and set up segmentation and win-back flows to improve retention.

Yes. We set up subscription programs on platforms like Stay.ai and ReCharge, and we can migrate subscription communications into Klaviyo for better segmentation. Subscriptions work well for routine- and regimen-based products to lock in recurring revenue.

Yes. We set up GA4, marketing pixels (Google, Meta, TikTok), product feeds for Google and Meta, and reviews that syndicate to Google Shopping and Facebook — so your tracking and ad infrastructure are ready at launch.

Every build goes through dedicated QA — cross-device and cross-browser testing, checkout and integration testing, and pre-launch bug fixing — before it ships. All work lives in version control, so changes are reviewed and reversible.

Yes. Builds include a 30-day post-launch support window for fixes on the original scope, and ongoing support is available through flexible retainers for continued design, development, and optimization.

We adapt to your process. We work in your project management tool (such as Asana), share a Slack channel for real-time questions, hold weekly syncs, and provide transparent time and progress reporting so you always know where things stand.
