ProSupps — a global sports-nutrition brand known for supplements like HYDE® and JEKYLL®.
Shopify Platinum Partner Serving
Dallas, TXCustom Shopify development for Dallas-area brands — from Deep Ellum and Uptown to Plano and Fort Worth.

We are a Shopify Platinum Partner agency building Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for Dallas, Texas brands. Our Dallas work concentrates where the market actually is: wholesale brands adding direct-to-consumer, B2B portals for Dallas Market Center exhibitors, ERP and inventory integration for distributors, and freight-aware storefronts for furniture and home goods.
Our team works from New York, Miami and Los Angeles, on Central-time overlap with full working-day availability. Projects start around $20,000. A typical build is 8 to 12 weeks.
Why Shopify businesses in Dallas choose SOLO MEDIA GROUP
Dallas is a major retail, fashion, and distribution capital, with the Dallas Market Center, a deep wholesale apparel and home-goods trade, and a growing base of direct-to-consumer, beauty, and tech-driven brands. For apparel, home, and consumer packaged goods companies we build direct-to-consumer storefronts with subscriptions and conversion optimization, and for the region's manufacturers and wholesalers we build B2B portals with account pricing and ERP, inventory, and 3PL integrations. Multi-location retailers in Uptown and NorthPark get Shopify POS unifying online and in-store. We also handle ADA remediation and enterprise migrations from Magento and custom platforms. As a Shopify Platinum Partner with offices in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, we bring senior developers and AI-assisted workflows to mid-market and enterprise brands.
We help direct-to-consumer brands grow by designing, building, and optimizing high-performing Shopify stores whether it's a full site redesign, a migration to Shopify, or ongoing conversion rate optimization and UX improvements.
We create seamless Shopify POS integrations that connect your online and in-store systems—so sales, inventory, and customer data all stay in sync.
We help brands launch and scale B2B on Shopify—customizing the experience for every buyer, from wholesale to trade and beyond.
Editorial storefronts, lookbooks, and variant/size UX built to convert.
Subscriptions, samples, and routine-based merchandising on Shopify.
High-volume catalogs, bundles, and direct-to-consumer + retail inventory sync.
Subscriptions, perishable logistics, and local pickup / POS.
Gated portals, account-level pricing, and ERP-connected ordering.
Unified online and in-store inventory, customers, and checkout.
Dallas is not a DTC market that happens to have wholesale in it. It is a wholesale market that increasingly sells direct, and that inversion changes what a Shopify store needs to do.
The Dallas Market Center is the center of gravity. More than 50,000 wholesale buyers pass through it annually across apparel, home goods, gifts and lighting. If you exhibit there, your ecommerce problem is not a pretty product page, it is what happens in the 72 hours after a buyer walks your booth. Most brands still take those orders on paper or a spreadsheet and rekey them later.
A properly built B2B portal turns that into a link you hand a buyer at the show: their pricing tier already applied, their terms already set, their previous order ready to reorder. Shopify Plus handles this natively now, and for a lot of Dallas wholesalers it replaces a legacy B2B platform at materially lower cost. That is the single highest-return Shopify project available to a Market Center exhibitor, and almost nobody is selling it to them.
Wholesale-to-DTC is the region's defining transition. Brands built on retail relationships are adding direct channels, and the hard part is not the storefront. It is channel conflict: pricing that does not undercut your retail partners, inventory that does not oversell across channels, and a catalog structure where wholesale and DTC share products without sharing prices. Getting that architecture wrong is how brands damage retail relationships they spent twenty years building.
DFW is a fulfillment advantage most brands underuse. The metroplex sits within two-day ground of most of the country, with deep 3PL and carrier infrastructure around the airport and Alliance. That is a real competitive asset, but only if your store surfaces it. Accurate delivery estimates on the product page, not just at checkout, is one of the cheapest conversion improvements available to a Dallas brand and one of the most commonly skipped.
Furniture and home goods have a freight problem. Dallas over-indexes on both, and standard Shopify shipping logic handles them badly. Dimensional weight, LTL freight, white-glove delivery, room-of-choice, assembly options, and lead times that vary by SKU: none of that works with flat-rate shipping. It needs real configuration, and when it is wrong the store either loses money on every order or quotes shipping so high nobody buys.
Texas sales tax is more complicated than it looks. Origin-based sourcing with local jurisdiction layers, and destination rules that shift once you are shipping interstate. Worth configuring properly at build time rather than discovering it during an audit.
Gated catalogs, account-level pricing, quantity breaks, net terms, and reorder flows built for trade buyers, connected to your ERP, inventory and 3PL systems. Purpose-built for Market Center exhibitors and regional distributors.
Launching direct without undercutting your retail partners: pricing rules, channel-aware inventory, and a catalog that serves both sides cleanly.
Product presentation, mobile usability, and site architecture built for how customers actually behave, with ongoing conversion rate optimization rather than a launch-and-leave handoff.
Klaviyo email and SMS integration with lifecycle flows that do the work after the first order: welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase and win-back, plus segmentation built around real customer behavior. For most Dallas ecommerce brands this is the highest-return channel they are underusing.
LTL, dimensional weight, white-glove and room-of-choice delivery, and assembly options for furniture, home and oversized goods.
Unified online and in-store inventory for multi-location retailers across Uptown, NorthPark and the wider metroplex.
For beauty, supplement and consumer packaged goods brands, built on Recharge, Stay.ai, Skio or Ordergroove with dunning configured properly.
From Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or custom systems, with data migration, redirect mapping and SEO preservation. Our store redesign guide covers how we protect rankings through a move.
Middleware and app development where the platform does not do what your business needs, connected to the third-party tools your operation already runs on.
Site architecture, structured data and Core Web Vitals: the foundations that determine whether the rest of the work gets found.
Ready to talk about your Dallas store?
With no Dallas office, the arrangement is deliberate rather than improvised. You get a dedicated senior team: a Shopify solution engineer on architecture, engineers handling development, a designer, a Klaviyo specialist for email marketing and retention, and a project lead working in your project management tool, with a shared Slack channel, weekly syncs and transparent progress reporting. We travel for kickoffs and major milestones when a project warrants it.
Most of our engagements turn into long-term partnerships rather than single projects, with ongoing support and optimization after launch. Full rates are on our pricing page.
We would rather tell you that plainly than imply a local presence we do not have. If in-person proximity is a requirement for you, there are good Dallas development shops and we will say so.
Tell us your revenue, your current platform, and what is actually not working. If a targeted fix serves you better than a rebuild, we will say so.

No. Our offices are in New York, Miami and Los Angeles, and we work with Dallas, Texas brands across the full Central-time working day using shared project tools, a dedicated Slack channel and weekly syncs. We travel for kickoffs and major milestones where it makes sense.
Yes, and it's one of the strongest Shopify use cases in this market. Over 50,000 wholesale buyers attend the Market Center annually, and most exhibitors still capture those orders manually. A Shopify Plus B2B portal lets a buyer reorder at their own pricing tier and terms straight from the show floor, connected to your ERP and inventory.
Yes. This is the most common Dallas project we see. The work is architectural: pricing rules that don't undercut your retail partners, channel-aware inventory that prevents overselling, and a catalog structure where wholesale and DTC share products without sharing prices.
Yes. LTL freight, dimensional weight, white-glove and room-of-choice delivery, assembly options, and SKU-level lead times all need real configuration. Standard flat-rate shipping either loses money on every order or quotes so high the sale doesn't happen.
Yes. We build Klaviyo email and SMS programs alongside the store: lifecycle flows, segmentation and campaign strategy. Retention is usually where the return on an ecommerce build actually shows up, so we'd rather build it in than hand it off.
Yes. We build custom middleware and apps connecting Shopify to ERP, inventory, POS and CRM systems, including the third-party tools your operation already runs on. Integrations are scoped up front so they're reliable and maintainable.
The full Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex: Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco, Arlington, Irving, McKinney and the surrounding area, plus brands across Texas generally.
Yes — Solo Media Group serves Dallas, TX. We're a Shopify Plus & Platinum Partner agency that has designed, built, and scaled 500+ Shopify stores over 8 years, generating $500M+ in annual revenue for our clients. We work with Dallas brands remotely with full working-hour overlap and weekly reporting — handling everything from brand-led design and custom development to migrations and email/SMS retention.
Solo Media Group is a senior design and development studio for commerce brands. We design, build, and grow Shopify stores end to end — brand-led design, custom development and integrations, email and retention marketing, and ongoing support. One team handles strategy, design, engineering, and QA, so you're not stitching together multiple vendors.
We work with direct-to-consumer and retail-first brands across beauty, wellness, food and beverage, consumer packaged goods, and specialty retail — from new-brand launches to established businesses replatforming or scaling. We're especially strong with brands that sell across multiple channels (direct-to-consumer, retail, wholesale, and POS).
A dedicated senior team: a Shopify solution engineer for architecture, engineers for development and custom apps, e-commerce-focused designers, a Klaviyo/email specialist for retention, and a project lead who runs communication and keeps the work on schedule. You work with the same team throughout — no hand-offs to junior staff.
We run a proven four-phase design process in Figma: (1) Brand discovery — a brand exercise, asset collection, competitive landscape, and a mood board; (2) Concepts and mood boarding — early creative directions that establish the visual language, tone, and feel before full design; (3) Full site design — iterative design of every key page; (4) Handoff — final designs with engineering notes, then development.
Yes — Shopify and Shopify Plus are our core platform. We build custom themes, apps, and integrations, and we architect stores for performance, maintainability, and growth.
Standard Shopify fits most single-brand stores. Shopify Plus adds enterprise features and lets you run up to 10 storefronts ("expansion stores") under one organization — useful if you operate multiple brands, currencies, or regions. We'll recommend the right plan based on your structure; you purchase the Shopify license directly.
Yes. We build on editable, well-structured themes so your team can update content and pages without opening a development ticket for every change. We also provide documentation and a walkthrough at handoff.
Yes. We build custom middleware and apps to connect Shopify with the systems your business runs on — ERPs and POS systems, Salesforce and other CRMs, subscription platforms, and custom logic unique to your business. Integrations are scoped up front so they're reliable and maintainable.
Yes. For brands with physical retail, we set up Shopify POS and keep inventory in sync between online and in-store, so both channels run off one source of truth.
Yes. We build B2B and wholesale experiences using Shopify Plus's native B2B features — gated portals, tax-exempt handling, customer-specific pricing, and automated renewals — often connected to your CRM.
Yes. We regularly migrate stores to Shopify from Magento / Adobe Commerce, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, OpenCart, and other platforms — including the design, data, and integration work required to run the new store.
Protecting search rankings is a core part of how we plan a migration. We map redirects one-to-one, audit content on top-ranking pages before it moves, and preserve technical SEO foundations. In past replatforms we've migrated stores with no post-launch SEO dip.
Yes. We migrate products, variants/SKUs, customers, and order history, along with catalog structure, collections, and metafields. For large catalogs we confirm the exact data scope (for example, how much order history to bring over) during discovery.
A typical new build runs about 8–12 weeks from design kickoff to launch. Smaller, more focused builds can be 4–6 weeks. Migrations depend on data and integration complexity.
The biggest factor is how quickly feedback comes back from your side. With a single decision-maker and prompt, consolidated feedback each round, we move fast; with multiple stakeholders and longer review cycles, timelines extend. Custom integrations and data migration also affect scope.
When speed matters — for a retail debut or seasonal launch — we can compress the design phase and run multiple design teams in parallel across projects. Focused builds can launch in as little as 8 weeks with quick turnarounds on approvals.
Most full design-and-build projects start at around $20,000, quoted as a line-item estimate. Retainers start at 20-hour engagements or $3,000 per month for ongoing support and optimization.
Projects are billed against milestones — for example, a percentage on signing to begin design, at design approval, at development start, and at launch. Invoices are typically net 15. We agree on the schedule up front in the statement of work.
Both. Many engagements are fixed-scope projects; others are ongoing retainers for continuous design and development. Retainers start at 20-hour engagements or $3,000/month, and for brands with variable workloads we can combine project (tranche) billing with a small retainer to keep us on call.
Yes. If you have your own development team, we can provide design-only services and deliver production-ready Figma files for your engineers to build.
Yes. We integrate Klaviyo with your store and build core lifecycle flows — welcome, abandoned cart, browse abandonment, and post-purchase — plus campaigns and segmentation strategy.
Yes. If your sender reputation has suffered, we rebuild it methodically — for example, using high-engagement, protected sending to restore reputation before scaling campaigns again — and set up segmentation and win-back flows to improve retention.
Yes. We set up subscription programs on platforms like Stay.ai and ReCharge, and we can migrate subscription communications into Klaviyo for better segmentation. Subscriptions work well for routine- and regimen-based products to lock in recurring revenue.
Yes. We set up GA4, marketing pixels (Google, Meta, TikTok), product feeds for Google and Meta, and reviews that syndicate to Google Shopping and Facebook — so your tracking and ad infrastructure are ready at launch.
Every build goes through dedicated QA — cross-device and cross-browser testing, checkout and integration testing, and pre-launch bug fixing — before it ships. All work lives in version control, so changes are reviewed and reversible.
Yes. Builds include a 30-day post-launch support window for fixes on the original scope, and ongoing support is available through flexible retainers for continued design, development, and optimization.
We adapt to your process. We work in your project management tool (such as Asana), share a Slack channel for real-time questions, hold weekly syncs, and provide transparent time and progress reporting so you always know where things stand.
